Meet Gold Coin
Every home has one: a shiny, round coin that keeps rolling under the sofa just when you need it. Gold Coin is exactly that, turned into a sticker. The card says it is worth one coin and emotionally priceless, which sounds like the right price tag for any lucky charm worth keeping in a pocket.
'Ka-ching! Did somebody say jackpot?' Gold Coin hears money in every sound. Its type is Money and its special ability is Lucky Flip: heads you win, tails you flip again. In other words, you never lose, you just keep flipping. It is an optimist with a metal edge, and it would never admit the game is rigged in your favour.
How to get Gold Coin
Gold Coin rolls in from three directions. The Sociale chat drops a sticker about every 5 minutes: type !catch first and confirm the private code within 5 minutes. On mysociale.net/album the Catch it button does the job. Packs work too, and you get them with active time, daily visits and a bonus after 7 days in a row.
Stats, rarity and swaps
Gold Coin is the most balanced common of the series: HP 45, attack 35, defence 50 and speed 45, with no stat under 35 and none over 50. It does not lead in anything, but it has no weak spot either, unlike Rocket Launch with defence 25 or Big Heart with attack 25. Collectors like the theme: a coin in the set that brings you 150 coins on Sociale once the complete series is handed in.
Questions about Gold Coin
Does Gold Coin give you coins on Sociale?
Not on its own. Gold Coin is a common sticker, listed by MewBots at 10 xats, and Mew Pop stickers are for collecting, gifting and swapping. The coins come from completing the set: hand in Sociale Classics with one copy of all 12 stickers and, once staff approve the ticket, you receive 150 coins on Sociale.
What is Lucky Flip?
Lucky Flip is Gold Coin's special ability: heads you win, tails you flip again. It is printed on the card with the Money type and the four stats, as a joke about the coin that never lets you lose. It does not change the drop odds, which stay 65% common, 25% rare, 8% epic and 2% legendary.
Are Gold Coin's stats good for a common?
They are steady. HP 45, attack 35, defence 50 and speed 45 make it the only common with every stat between 35 and 50. Gift Box has more defence, Rocket Launch more speed and attack, Big Heart more HP, but each of them drops below 35 somewhere. Gold Coin keeps an even face.
