2048 strategy: tips to reach the 2048 tile
Keep your biggest tile in a corner. Pick one corner and build towards it. Most good players use a bottom corner.
Use mostly two or three directions. If your big tile sits bottom left, move down and left, and right only when you must. Avoid the direction that pulls the big tile out of its corner.
Build a chain. Line up tiles in decreasing order next to the corner (1024, 512, 256…) so each join leads to the next.
Do not rush. The board fills up fast with small tiles. Look for the move that keeps more empty squares.
